In February of this year I sat on my desk and sketched this in pastel. It's daisies in the herb garden in the front yard. I leave all my garden work until spring because I like to see what the snow does with the dead flowers. It was a very sunny day when I painted this and the colors and the high contrast caught my attention. I was so happy with how it turned out and looked at it for weeks.
