I tried out what I can do with pencil in this really large drawing (20" x 30") of my great grandfather. I realized, when it was done, that a picture of someone bigger-than-life is o.k. on movie posters but not something I want for portraits of family members.
it looks pretty amazing in this photograph though, laura. you are so talented!
ReplyDeleteThank you - it does look more normal in this little computer monitor size - in real life it's kind of wacky to have a huge head picture on the wall. Less so b/c it's half a head...but I did learn.
